18th Aug 2010
Brought to you by Emap in partnership with Arts Council England and the UK Film Council, the three-day conference features a packed programme of talks, workshops and networking opportunities. It kicks off with a panel event on the evening of Wednesday 8 September.
Conference highlights include: a Q&A session with Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport Jeremy Hunt; a panel debate about Project Canvas with Mark Thompson, Director General of the BBC; and a chance to take part in Channel 4's A pitch in time competition.
Other key speakers include: our Chair Dame Liz Forgan; Tabitha Jackson, Arts Commissioner, Channel 4; James Hunt, Head of Programming, Sky Arts; Toby Barnes, Founder, Mudlark; and our Director of Digital Projects Adrian Friedli, who will be speaking about funding.
Don't forget to come and visit us at the Arts Council England stand, where we will be showing our latest digital commission from The Sancho Plan.
The Media Festival Arts runs Wednesday 8 September to Friday 10 September at the Roundhouse. Not-for-profit organisations benefit from a reduced rate as well as an early bird 50 reduction if tickets are bought before 27 August 2010. Visit the website to find out more and to buy tickets.
