Emerging Lighting Designers
9th Jan 2012
The meeting will be held at the Washington in Hampstead, a short walk from Central, from 7pm, following the student masterclass. It is hoped that the ALD will be able to make these meetings a regular occurence, where young and emerging lighting designers can discuss professional areas of concern (such as contracts and working conditions), share experiences (good and bad) and gain advice from more established ilghting designers.
As this is the first of these events, they will be looking to canvas opinions about what would be useful or helpful to you in shaping these meetings and finding out how they can best help their members. If you are working that evening, feel free to come along after, as they are sure they will be there until they are kicked out!
If you are unable to attend, but have any ideas or would like to offer your input, please email [email protected]
Attendance is open to all - not just ALD members, but to anyone interested in lighting or lighting design.
In the future, they will be holding meetings in Leeds and Manchester too, so if you can't make it down to London, don't worry!
