Burrell Foley Associates was established as a partnership by John Burrell and Mark Foley in October 1982. Stefanie Fischer joined as an Associate in the same year, becoming a Partner in 1985. The Practice was renamed Burrell Foley Fischer in 1990 and became a Limited Liability Partnership in July 2001. In August 2003 Matthew Lunn was made a Principal and the current Principals are John Burrell, Mark Foley, Stefanie Fischer and Matthew Lunn. The Practice works from its office in Kings Cross, London, in the United Kingdom. Burrell Foley Fischer LLP has a rigorous approach to its work, developed through years of experience working alongside clients with high aspirations, often on difficult sites and within very limited means. Success has been achieved by gaining a thorough understanding of clients needs, a detailed knowledge of the building type, a disciplined and intellectual analysis of the context, and by producing imaginative responses and creative solutions. The result is design and construction of the highest quality, delivered within agreed budgets and programmes. Many of the Practices projects have gone on to win prestigious design awards. Over 25 years the Practice has gained vast experience of Arts and Media buildings, Urban Design and Masterplanning, Urban Regeneration, Education and Residential projects.
