Classical Spectacular
Just FX provides pyrotechnics and special effects for concerts, shows, conferences and television and outdoor special effects for films, events and air shows. The company has been associated with the annual Classical Spectacular since its inception, originally at the Royal Festival Hall (1988) and thereafter at Royal Albert Hall; has provided the pyrotechnic bangs and flashes (canon and mortar effects) for over six hundred 1812 Overtures; and, amongst other events, have also been involved in various conferences around Europe and the UK, the BBC Proms, television shows including the Jonathan Ross Show, Noel Edmunds Show and Blue Peter, various promotional productions at Pinewood Studios, the Spice Girls Movie, Airshows at Duxford and Shoreham, James Bond/BMW Promotions, Royal Variety Shows and the Sky TV-Benson and Hedges Ice Hockey Finals at Sheffield Arena. They have also provided the industrial sized confetti and streamer effects for the naming ceremonies and sail-aways for P&O ships including the Aurora and were recently involved with providing effects for the launch in Southampton of the new Queen Mary II Liner.
